Regulator publishes information note for statutory appointees

Updated

25 July 2019

We’ve today published an information note for statutory appointees. A ‘statutory appointee’ is an additional officer we appoint to the governing body of an RSL. Making these appointments is one of the statutory powers we have under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010. We will only do this if we need to take action to protect the interests of tenants and service users. The information note for statutory appointees explains what is involved in being a statutory appointee.
