Why we are engaging with Abronhill Housing Association Ltd (Abronhill)
We are engaging with Abronhill about its stock quality.
We have been engaging with Abronhill about its planned maintenance and energy efficiency plans to bring its stock up to the required standards. It procured a new stock condition survey in 2024 which is informing the update of its asset management strategy.
In 2025/26 and following an independent strategic options appraisal, as well as further reviewing its profile and stock condition, Abronhill concluded that it was in the best interests of its tenants and other service users to seek a partnership with another Registered Social Landlord. However, no formal offers of partnership were identified and Abronhill decided to remain independent. It is now developing a growth and consolidation strategy to support its asset management and stock improvement plans.
